A Practice Built Around Women and Children.
Caring for pregnant women, babies and children has been Dr. Justine Rhee’s calling and her passion since her chiropractic training. After 15 years of caring for whole families, she opened Chiro Mamas to give mamas and their littles her complete focus. Everything here, from the tables to the techniques to the length of each visit, was designed with them in mind.
- Women and children only. Not a niche we added. It’s the entire practice.
- Gonstead specificity. Five-part analysis before any adjustment, so care is targeted rather than general.
- Unhurried infant visits. Babies under one year get extended appointments, at the baby’s pace.
- Prices published, not quoted. Cash-based, with superbills, HSA and FSA accepted.
- 2007Doctor of Chiropractic, SCU
- Nearly500Hours of Gonstead training
- 200+Hours ICPA pediatric program
- Nearly20Years in practice
Care That Changes as You Do
The same precise analysis, adapted for a growing belly, a healing pelvis, or a four-day-old spine.
Prenatal Chiropractic & the Webster Technique
As posture, weight distribution and ligament tension shift, the pelvis and nervous system carry the load. Webster is a specific analysis of sacral alignment, pelvic asymmetry and round-ligament tension, adjusted gently and modified for every stage of pregnancy.
- Low back, hip, sciatic and pubic symphysis discomfort
- Round ligament pain and postural strain
- Pelvic balance to support optimal fetal positioning
- Nervous-system regulation for sleep and stress load
Webster does not turn a breech baby. It reduces pelvic and soft-tissue tension so the body has the best possible conditions to do that on its own.

Postpartum Recovery
Birth is a structural event, and the fourth trimester adds hours of feeding, carrying and one-sided load. Postpartum care supports the pelvis and spine while your ligaments regain stability.
- Recovery from labor, delivery and prolonged pushing
- Breastfeeding support and latch work
- Neck, mid-back and wrist strain from feeding and carrying
- Pelvic and sacral alignment as relaxin levels fall
- Nervous-system support through the fourth trimester

Babies & Kids
Pressure is always matched to your child’s age and stage, from a newborn’s first days through the teen years. Dr. Rhee has cared for babies from their first hours of life. Infant visits include a primitive reflex exam, and they’re longer on purpose: birth history, feeding, sleep and milestones all get reviewed before anything else happens.
- Primitive reflex exams and first-year milestone tracking
- Breastfeeding support, latch difficulty and head-turning preference
- Colic-type fussiness, reflux symptoms and sleep disruption
- Posture, backpacks, sport and growth-spurt complaints

Women’s Wellness, Every Season
General women’s wellness, preconception care, and support through perimenopause and menopause. Precise spinal care plus consultation, assessment and lifestyle support, including supplement guidance and review of lab work you bring in.
- General women’s wellness, posture and mobility
- Preconception and fertility-journey support
- Perimenopausal and menopausal changes
- Consultation, assessment and lifestyle guidance

We Find It Before We Fix It
The Gonstead Method is built on five layers of analysis. Nothing is adjusted until all five agree, which is what makes it safe enough for a newborn.
“Find the subluxation. Accept it where you find it. Correct it. Leave it alone.”
Visualization
Posture, stance, gait and movement patterns observed before anything is touched.
Instrumentation
Nervoscope, Tempo-scope and Delta-T detect heat along the spine. Dr. Rhee also uses the Electrical Conductivity Scanner (ECS), a specialized instrument most Gonstead doctors aren’t trained to use.
Static Palpation
Feeling for alignment, tenderness, swelling and tissue change at rest.
Motion Palpation
Assessing how each individual segment moves, and where it doesn’t.
X-Ray Analysis
Full-spine films when clinically indicated, so the adjustment direction and level are precise. Never during pregnancy, and not routine for children.
-
Why It Matters for You
Specificity means less force, fewer segments adjusted, and care that can be safely scaled down to an infant’s spine.
Explore the method
“Check and recheck your x-ray, your palpation, instrumentation, motion palpation, and visualization.”
No Mystery, No Pressure
You’ll know what’s happening at every step, and you’ll see your findings, your care plan and its total cost before you commit to a care plan.

Mamas Who Found Us
“She truly is a godsend and has become a part of our family. I can’t think of anyone I would recommend more to help you through pregnancy or with your little ones.”
“Dr. Rhee was so kind, patient, and gentle with my son. She took the time to explain everything in a way we could understand. The adjustment was gentle, precise, and tailored specifically for him.”
“But Dr. Rhee is different. She didn’t just jump into adjustments; she sat with me and truly educated me on the process first.”
Read what patients say about Chiro Mamas on Google and Yelp, and if we’ve cared for you or your little one, we’d love to hear about it there too.
The Things Everybody Asks
Is chiropractic care safe during pregnancy?
Yes. Prenatal chiropractic care is considered safe when provided by a trained provider. Technique and positioning are modified for each stage of pregnancy. Most patients come to us for pelvic balance, comfort and overall function.
Is it safe for a newborn?
Yes. Pressure and technique are always matched to the baby’s age and stage, and for newborns that means very light, gentle contact. Infant visits are also longer, so care happens at the baby’s pace, with breaks for feeding and comfort.
Do you take insurance?
Chiro Mamas is a cash-based practice. Superbills are available on request if you’d like to submit for possible reimbursement, and we accept HSA and FSA cards. All fees are published on our Fees & Packages page.
