Postpartum Chiropractic Care
Birth is a structural event. Recovery deserves more than “give it six weeks.”

The Fourth Trimester Is a Full-Body Renovation.
Labor and delivery place enormous demand on the pelvis, sacrum and spine. Then the recovery period adds its own load: hours of feeding in one position, carrying a baby on one hip, broken sleep, and ligaments regaining stability as relaxin levels fall.
Postpartum care supports spinal and pelvic alignment through that window, and gives you somewhere to bring the aches nobody warned you about. Dr. Rhee also offers breastfeeding support and latch work during your visits, because feeding comfort and your body’s recovery are closely connected. Bring the baby; we’re built for it.

- Nervous-system overwhelm and poor sleep quality
How We Work with You
Restoring Pelvic Alignment
As relaxin clears and ligaments tighten, whatever alignment the pelvis settles into is the one it keeps. This window matters.
Breastfeeding Support & Latch
Part of your postpartum visits: we watch how baby latches, work out feeding positions that are comfortable for both of you, and notice how baby sucks and moves the tongue and jaw. If we suspect a tongue or lip tie, we guide you and refer you to the right provider.
Bring the Baby
Kid-friendly waiting space, stroller-friendly rooms and a private spot to feed or pump. You do not need to find childcare to get adjusted.
Load-Specific Care
Feeding posture, carrying side and babywearing setup are all assessed, because they are the actual source of most postpartum complaints.
Nervous-System Regulation
Sleep deprivation and constant vigilance keep the nervous system in a high-alert state. Reducing mechanical stress helps take some of that load off.
Alongside Your Other Providers
We work comfortably alongside pelvic-floor physical therapy, lactation consultants, midwives and OBs, and will refer when something is outside our scope.
You Asked
How soon after birth can I be adjusted?
Many patients come in within the first few weeks, and some in the first days. Care is scaled to where your body is. If you had a cesarean or a complicated delivery, we’ll coordinate with your medical provider’s clearance.
Can I bring my newborn to my appointment?
Yes, always. The waiting area is kid-friendly, the rooms are stroller-friendly, and a private space for feeding or pumping can be provided on request.
Do you help with breastfeeding and latch?
Yes. Breastfeeding support and latch work are part of your postpartum visits and our first-year infant visits: latch assessment, feeding positions and posture, how baby sucks and moves the tongue and jaw, and guidance or referrals if a tongue or lip tie is suspected.
Do you also check the baby?
Yes, as a separate infant appointment with its own exam and fee. An infant assessment is thorough, not something squeezed into the end of your visit. Many families book both together.
Is this the same as pelvic floor therapy?
No, and it isn’t a substitute. Chiropractic care addresses spinal and pelvic joint alignment and nervous-system function. Pelvic floor PT addresses the musculature directly. They complement each other well.
I’m two years postpartum. Is it too late?
No. Postpartum simply means “after birth,” and conditions that began then can go unaddressed for years. We treat the first year after birth as the acute postpartum window. After that, care continues as women’s health care, and the two often overlap. Plenty of patients arrive years later with load patterns that started in that first year.
